Pharmacia Securities Class Action Lawsuit Settlement

 

In 2004 Pfizer acquired Pharmacia Corporation in large part of Pharmacia’s drug Celebrex.  At the time a securities class action against Pharmacia was ongoing in which shareholders alleged that Pharmacia violated federal securities laws in connection with its publication of gastrointestinal data from a Celebrex study.  After ten years of litigation, Pfizer settled the securities class action for $164 million.

Who can submit a claim?

Only investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Pharmacia common stock between April 17, 2000 and August 5, 2001 are eligible to make a claim as part of the settlement.

How to submit a claim?

Deadline to file a Proof of Claim.

Investors must submit a Proof of Claim form by January 28, 2013.
